Why Gran Canaria?

The main goal of my photography is to show the world the wonders of the island where I was born and raised and which I consider the best place in the world to live. Capturing the beauty that I see with my eyes every day in a digital image or on paper, that is my true pleasure and motivation that makes me leave home and find incredible places that we have a few minutes by car or even by foot.

The island is…

For me Gran Canaria is water, sand, mountains, mist, rock, cold, heat, sun, clouds, valleys, ravines, vegetation, desert and even snow. Gran Canaria is haze, waves, waterfalls, dams, palm trees, cactus, lighthouses, and cliffs. All this and much more is Gran Canaria.

Feelings

Making my contribution in sharing the charm and majesty of the land I live in makes me happy doing landscape photography. Also, sharing it with other people inside or outside the island makes me immensely excited.

No fixed pattern

A thing that I love about Gran Canaria is the high variability of the climate and weather conditions, for example, two sunsets on two different days can be completely different. This means that no day is the same as the previous one, and that no photo of the same location is the same as the one shot the day before.

Future

I have taken many photos of the island and I still think that I have so many places and magical moments left to photograph on it. In the coming years, I would like to travel to other islands or even outside the archipelago to shoot and to continue enjoying my hobbie but my priority still is Gran Canaria and I hope that I will stay near the island for a long time.
