1. What is a "Fine Art Print" and why is it worth the investment?
A Fine Art Print represents the highest standard in photographic reproduction, designed for longevity and exceptional aesthetic quality. We utilize museum-grade archival papers (such as Hahnemühle Photo Rag or similar) and premium pigment inks, ensuring your print remains vibrant and light-fast for over 100 years. When you invest in a Fine Art Print, you are acquiring a certified piece of art that holds its value, far surpassing standard photographic reproductions.
2. Are the prints signed and numbered?
Yes, absolutely. Every print purchased from Daniel Batista Photo is a Limited Edition piece. Each one is personally signed and numbered by Daniel Batista and includes a dedicated Certificate of Authenticity (COA). This certificate is crucial for establishing the provenance and value of your artwork, ensuring you own a unique and verified piece from the edition run.
3. How long will it take to receive my order?
The total delivery time is split into two phases: Processing Time and Shipping Time.
Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the printing, rigorous quality control, artist signing, and meticulous packaging, as all prints are made-to-order.
Shipping Time: Once dispatched, transit time typically ranges from 3 to 5 days for mainland Spain and the EU, and 7 to 14 days for international destinations. You will receive a tracking number upon dispatch.
4. How are the prints packaged to ensure safe arrival?
We take extreme care in packaging. Prints are carefully rolled and placed inside heavy-duty, reinforced cardboard mailing tubes or shipped flat in specialized boxes (depending on size). Our packaging is specifically designed to protect against bending, creasing, and water damage, ensuring your artwork arrives in pristine, museum-quality condition, ready for framing.
5. Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
If you are ordering from outside the European Union (EU), yes, you may be subject to import taxes and customs duties. As we ship from the Canary Islands, the customer is responsible for any tariffs, taxes (VAT/GST), or brokerage fees levied by their country’s customs office upon arrival. Please check your local tax authority for details before purchasing.
6. What is your return or exchange policy?
Due to the limited edition and custom, made-to-order nature of our artwork, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for buyer’s remorse (change of mind) or incorrect size selections. However, we offer a 100% guarantee on condition: If your print arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours with photographic proof, and we will gladly replace the print at no additional cost.
7. Are your prints shipped framed, or do they come rolled?
To ensure the utmost safety during transit and to offer you the flexibility of customizing the presentation, all Fine Art Prints are shipped unframed (without a frame).
Depending on the size, they will either be carefully rolled and secured inside a heavy-duty mailing tube or packaged flat in a reinforced box. This method prevents damage and allows you to choose a frame that perfectly matches your home décor and personal style once the artwork arrives.
8. How accurate is the color on my screen compared to the actual print?
We take extensive measures to ensure color fidelity. Our images are processed using professionally calibrated monitors to match the original photographic files as closely as possible to the final print output.
However, please note that the colors you see on your personal screen (mobile phone, tablet, or desktop) are affected by your device’s specific brightness and color settings. While the print will be true to our master file, slight tonal variations between your screen and the physical print may occur. This is normal, and your final print will always reflect the certified, archival quality standards of the chosen paper and pigment inks.
